Our policy is to never increase any prices once quoted no matter what the circumstances. We have no hidden fees, travel fees, cutting or corking fees.
The following are some additional charges that may arise according to the town and facility where the reception is being held.
Licenses: Cardoos Gourmet Caterers and Cardoos Bar Service is a state licensed caterer, which is fully insured with a multi-million dollar general liability, workers’ compensation and liquor liability insurance. Cardoos will provide a certificate of insurance to any venue when it is required. Additionally Insured Names on policy may accrue a cost of $100.
Cardoos will fill out and file with any towns any applications on behalf of the client and the license fee will be charged back to the client. This does not apply to all towns or cities.
Charges: If a function facility charges a kitchen fee, caterers use fee of catering surcharge, this fee will be paid by the caterer on behalf of the client and charges back to the client.
Overtime: If a reception time is longer than 5 hours, the client will be charged an additional $300.00 per hour to cover the catering staff time.
When a wedding service is held at the function facility an added hour is charged.
When the function facility requires the caterer to set up and breakdown the tables and chairs, an added hour is charged.
Deposits: A deposit of $1,000 is required for all wedding receptions accompanied with signed catering contract, bar service and the catering policy sheets.
Final Counts: The final count including the bride and groom, the wedding party, guests, band members, photographers, etc. must be called in 10 days before the wedding reception.
Final Payment: The final payment may be paid by check, cash, or credit card and is due 5 days prior to the reception.
Cancellation Deposit Refunds: All cancellations more than 90 days prior to the function are fully refundable. Any cancellation less than 90 days due to hospitalization or death in a family will be fully refunded. All other circumstances will be reviewed individually.
